So, what is olio di soia?
Olio di soia, also known as soybean oil, is a popular vegetable oil derived from soybeans. It is a pale-yellow, mild-tasting oil with a high smoke point, making it ideal for frying and baking. Soybean oil is a rich source of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which are essential for a healthy diet. It is also cholesterol-free and low in saturated fat. In addition to its culinary uses, soybean oil is widely used in industrial applications, including as a lubricant, in the production of biodiesel, and in the manufacture of plastics and other materials.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
